Gerald Foo

I’ve had a diverse career starting in Shell’s Downstream business in New Zealand, before moving onto various commercial roles which have allowed me to live and work in 3 continents, covering over 20 countries. I currently lead Shell Lubricant’s distributor business in Asia Pacific. I’m also a husband, father of two, Star Wars nerd, and a global nomad at heart. I’m energized by new experiences, connections, and ideas, and have a particular interest in sustainability. Our industry is responsible for a significant portion of global emissions, and so we have an outsized role to play in being part of the solution. Over the past 2 years, I’ve been actively seeking and deploying solutions that help decarbonise industries that we supply, as well as actively supporting start-up programmes that focus on sustainable development.
